What's expected of you?

Lead and manage the Accounts department, fostering excellence and collaboration
Mentor and support Accounts Executives for their professional development
Prepare comprehensive monthly/quarterly management accounts with accurate profit and loss forecasts
Generate various financial reports: profit and loss, VAT returns, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
Conduct regular analysis of financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
Assist external auditors, Board Members, and Management during audits to ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain robust internal controls and document accounting processes to mitigate risks
Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure financial stability
Conduct weekly/monthly bank statement reconciliations according to company policies
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop annual budgets and contribute to the yearly business plan
Provide financial insights and analysis to support budgetary decision-making and strategic planning initiatives

What are you expected to bring?

Be a fully qualified Accountant
Proven previous experience in a similar role
Be well-organized, with a track record of achieving targets and a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent leadership skills
Strong proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite
Display the ability to drive change, take initiative, and act as required
Proficient in work planning and time management
