Accountant - iGaming

What’s expected of you?

  • Ensure timely completion of periodic reconciliations.
  • Record entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts.
  • Post transactions to purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Maintain organized accounting files.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations promptly.
  • Handle affiliate postings and reconciliations.
  • Upload daily foreign exchange rates.
  • Review work done by Accounts Payable and Junior Accountant.
  • Submit VAT and related documents on time.
  • Assist with month-end bookkeeping tasks as needed.
  • Fulfill daily and end-of-month internal reporting requirements.
  • Analyze account information to reconcile financial discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain controls over accounting transactions.
  • Assist with various period-end reconciliations (intercompany, salary, VAT, balance sheet, etc.).
  • Approve accruals and prepayments.
  • Develop new Excel schedules to automate finance processes.
  • Extract trial balances and reconcile differences across entities.

 

What are you expected to bring?

  • Holder of an A-level in Accounting achieved locally. Additional initial stages of ACCA are considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar role is ideal, on the job training will be offered
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
